Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern. XXXXXXX rarely but yes can cause loose motions to some people.
However it's not a prominent side effect and your might have developed viral diarrhea.
My recommendations in such case would be to stop XXXXXXX now and restart it after diarrhea settles.
In case you again develop loose stools following start of XXXXXXX you would need to discuss with your doctor to consider change of drug for BPH.
