Question : My Diarrhea Is Bright Blueish Greenish Color And My Stomach Makes Noise What Does This Mean ?
Brief Answer:
Viral gastroenteritis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Altered colored stool is usually because of viral infection or food poisoning.
Most common sources include contaminated water and foods esp meat, eggs, reheated foods , etc.
The stomach noise is due to excessive gas production which is again due to the above mentioned reasons.
I suggest you to take some probiotics like sachharomyces twice daily for 3 days.
Also avoid packaged foods, carbonated liquid drinks.
Ensure your drinking water supply is not contaminated . Avoid reheating foods .
Drink plenty of liquids including oral rehydration solution to keep yourself hydrated.
Wishing you speedy recovery.
Regards
Dr Arun
