Brief Answer:
it is serious infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to the healthcaremagic
Viral myocardial infection is a serious infection. In acute phase it should be treated in hospital ( preferably ICU ) .Cardiologist opinion should be saught. There is no specific treatment for it.Goal of treatment is adequate cardiac tissue perfusion. For that ABG is done to monitor oxygen and if needed it is supplemented.
Digoxin/digitalis is given to augment heart contractility.
Diuretics can be given to reduce preload on heart ( but cautiously as it may sometimes reduce cardiac output drastically )
Afterload on heart is reduced by giving ACE inhibitors/milrinone/nitroprusside( if BP permits )
In severe cases dopamine, dobutamine are required
Activity is restricted.Salt restricted diet is given.
In some centers immunoglobulin is given to reduce viral replication
Hope I gave you all the derails of treatment
Best regards
