Question : my 3 year old has an yeast infection. how long should I wait until I take her in to her pediatrician? It started yesterday. Itchiness, redness....
Brief Answer:
You can wait 3-4 days
Detailed Answer:
Hi...You can wait for 3-4 days before going to a doctor. Do call the doctor if the rash looks as though it may be infected. (Signs of infection include blisters, pus-filled pimples, oozing yellow patches, or open sores.) The doctor may prescribe a topical or oral antibiotic for your child.
