Question : My tongue tends to rest against the middle of my upper and lower teeth, and i think its pushing my teeth and mouth foward . I always wake up to find my lips portruding or sometimes when i'm at rest. Ive worn braces before when i was in high school. I dont like my smile, as you can see in the last picture, but now im thinking of getting lumineers because I want it done quickly and i wint have time to visit the dentist alot because of my school worl. I dont want to have an unsightly smile . Any advise on this would be appreciated .

Brief Answer:
palatal crib, braces, invisalign

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
As per your history, you might be having tongue thrusting habit, which makes the teeth move farward. The farwardly placed teeth makes your lip appear protruding. For this you can get a habit breaking appliance like palatal crib by consulting a orthodontist.

As per your pictures, lumineers are not ideal for your condition. Since you are telling you cannot visit dentist regularly because of the school work, If i am your treating doctor, i would suggest you to go for invisalign(since you are telling you are not able to go to dentist) ,
Lumineers are good option when there is mild gap but you have severe malocclusion, that has to be corrected. You are giving a previous history of braces, but they have done a very poor job.
Thinking about your long term and future, I would like to suggest you to go for either braces or invisalign. Because the lumineers are temporary solution, the cause remains untreated.

I hope my answer will help you, take care.
