Question : i am 59 years old having type 2 diabetes & B.P. since 10 years. my doctor has prescribed the following medicines :
1. Glycomet trio 2 - twice daily.
2.Zita 100 - once daily.
2. Amlace - once daily.
4.Tonact TG - once daily.
But after taking these medicines, I am having indigestion, gastric and loose motion. Is it the side effect of any or all of the above medicines. Pl. guide.

Welcome to HCM. I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

The problems of indigestion, gastritis and loose motion can be a side effect of two of the medications you are on: Metformin and Voglibose - the contents of Glycomet Trio. If you are this medication for the first time the symptoms can be well due to this medicine.

Consult with your doctor and try for alternatives for this drug.
