Question : I have high blood pressure, I am on metoprolol and pradaxa. , I have also been on amlodipine. I have taken all of them but can,t get blood pressure to stay under about 200 over 100. Have a pacemaker checked yesterday and all was good. what else can I do?
Brief Answer:
need to have medicines changed
Detailed Answer:
Hi
If your blood pressure is in this range it is unlikely to be controlled with Metoprolol and you need more medicines and need to include Diuretic (class of BP lowering medicines). These medicines are best suggested according to your medical history.
Also have to check your renal profile and electrolytes.
Please see your physician and have medicines changed.
