Question : Hi Doc ,
My wife missed her monthly cycle 3 days back. When we checked pregnancy kit it turned out to be positive.
Pls suggest ways to clear the pregnancy.

Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Pregnancy can be terminated only after confirmation by ultrasound scan regarding location of gestational sac.

2) If there is ectopic pregnancy it can be life threatening to take medicines without ultrasound scan.

3) Hence I suggest you to get ultrasound scan first to locate the gestational sac and send me the report so that I can advice accordingly.
