Can Fertigyn And Religest Cause Any Problem During Pregnancy?

my age is 31yrs i,m pregnant with 7.6 weeks my USG report is ;uterus is gravid &shows gestational sac ,small fetal node is seen no definite cardiac activity is seen .trophoblastic reactionis good ,IOS is closed. my doc told me to take fertigyn 5000 inj. ,religest200, duphaston,lycocan folicacid tabs &multivitamin caps.will it do good for my baby.i am quite worried pls help me

Hi,

The drugs Fertigyn (human chorionic gonadotrophin) Religest and Duphaston are drugs which facilitate fetal growth. Folic acid is given to prevent congenital Anamoly and multivitamins are general health enhancers for mother. Actually, these drugs were advised to enhance fetal growth and help appearance of fetal heart activities.

The fetal heat beats are seen by 7 weeks of pregnancy though it's not seen at 7.6 weeks USG scan. The possible delayed development can be corrected with the drugs and fetal hearts may be seen in a week's time so the drugs can prove to be useful and not at all harmful for pregnancy. They can prevent harm to baby in case of need.
