Question : Trying to taper diazepam - have had a couple of bad days with 100mg - can I safely go back to 60mg tomorrow? Email: YYYY@YYYY
Brief Answer:
Suggestion
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Would probably try to taper slowly - 80 mg daily for 3-4 days then 60 mg for 3-4 days etc.
This needs to be done under the supervision of your own doctor however. Please call your doctor for specific instructions.

I have only been taking for about 8 weeks, but at quite high doses. I was advised to drop to 60mg and then 10mg lower every two days - does this seem too fast?
I do wonder if it's why I'm having problems!

Detailed Answer:
Seems a bit fast to me.
I would taper in 10 mg increments from here on out.
Again this has to be cleared by your own doctor.
