Question : What is the protocol for withdrawing from Sinemet? I have already reduced dosage to 1/2 dose 3 times per day.

I have been on Sinemet for 45 days.

Highest dose was 25/100 three times per day.

Currently doing 1/2 dose three times per day.

I have Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and I was "freezing" and taking many small steps to begin walking. DR. called it a "Parkinsonism" and prescribed Sinemet.

I have been on 1/2 dose for 1 week.

Thanks for these details. I will suggest the following plan.

1. Step down the frequency to same dosage twice daily for one week.
2. Then same dosage once daily for another week
3. Same dosage every other day for one week.
4. Then stop it all together.
