What Are The Adverse Effects Of Carpet CPR Ingredient Consumption?

Question: My 5 year old grandson took a small gulp of glass of water (8 oz size) that had a capful of carpet cleaner called Carpet CPR in it. We made him throw up and he seems to be just fine, but is there anything else that we should do?
Brief Answer:
I won't get worried as it is nonhazardous
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
Carpet CPR ingredient is nonhazardous and when ingested in large amount it may cause nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea.
In fact induced vomiting is not needed and management is giving plenty of water and milk of magnesia.
I won't get worried as Carpet CPR is nonhazardous and child is active, alert, there is no irritability ,breathing difficulty or any abnormal movement.
Still as this is a case of acute ingestion of chemical, I would suggest you to get him evaluated by a physician.
Regards
