Brief Answer:
there is no benefit if you have adequate B12 in body stores

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

vitamin B12 is normally stored in the body and used for blood production and other important functions. When the B12 is depleted (because you don't get enough from food or because you can't absorb it) anemia and neurological deficits may occur. If your blood tests are normal then lack of vitamin B12 is unlikely. If you do have B12 deficiency then you can receive 1mg of vitamin B12 by mouth (sublingual is better) for a few months or for the rest of your life (depending on the cause of this deficiency).

Another way to receive B12 is to inject it once a month. We usually start with daily injections for the first week, then once a week for a month and then once every month.

You'd better do the test for vitamin B12 first though. If you have adequate supplies in your body then it won't benefit you.

I hope you find this information helpful!
Kind Regards!
