Question : Hi I'm a bit concerned. I had this encounter with a guy but there was no penetration. He tried to penetrate with condom but he can't. There were hand stimulations though. I touched his penis and touched myself after. After 2 weeks, I had this lump in my vagina, south area near the anus. I had it check and got paps mear. the result was bacterial vaginosis. I got treated with antibiotic as prescribed by a doctor. is there a big chance of contracting hiv in this case?
Brief Answer:
The risk is negligible
Detailed Answer:
If your partner was HIV positive, the risk of transmission is negligible since this is not risky sexual intercourse and prolonged penetration is required for HIV transmission. Other STDs may be easier transmissible but generally this risk is low too. Wish you good health. Regards
