Question : I am on clomid since last month.Hubby's Semen Analysis test was done.Report was absolutely normal.last month my Follicle sizes were ideal 22mm on right 20 mm on left.Took HCG 5000 to rupture.Follicles were also ruptured.However there was no pregnancy.This month i took clomid again.Follicle size 22mm and 30 mm on right.Took Trigger shot,however both follicles ruptured partly.what are the chances of conceiving.Pls advice me.Will i be able to experience motherhood or not.I am dejected.my age is 25.what is IUI.Is that advisable to me

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply

1. The chance of conception in each cycle is upto 10 percent only.

2. I am happy that you are undergoing regular follicular growth scan and taking ovulation trigger.

3. If you dont conceive naturally you have to try IUI.

4. IUI ( Intrauterine insemination) is a procedure where your husband's sperms are cleaned and put into your uterus after egg is ruptured.

5. You are still young and have very good chances of pregnancy.
