Question : I started Clonidine 0.1mg Bid for diagnosed ADD, anxiety. I am under a dr's care.
wondering side effects.... my anxiety has lessened from a 10/10 to a 6/10 since starting med 11/6/15
my heart rate and feeling of panic is better. my heart rate was > 110 now 80's
took med 0700
should be 12 hours apart
starting to feel increase anxiety at noon, heart rate 98
I am wondering if I could ask to take the med sooner, like 8 hours later due to climbing anxiety and heart rate
I have been seeing MD q month
I have been doing Neuro-feed-back only with some relief
I am a RN working in a stressful environment

                                    Brief Answer:
Yes you can take 8 hours apart
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.

Yes you can take second dose around 2-3pm to curtail anxiety in noon. However clonodine reduces blood pressure so just take care that you have proper lunch and there is no issue of hypo tension otherwise you may feel light headedness and giddiness. And if you are getting good sleep at night and no anxiety in late evening no need to take any dose at night. Also inform this schedule to your doctor also.
Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
Regards,
Dr. Chintan Solanki.
