Question : I have slight numbness on the tip of my tongue, also a thin white line on the top side of the tip. I take lamictal for epilepsy and was wondering if that has anything to do with it or could it be more serious?

Hi,

Thanks for consulting at health care magic.

It could be due to side effects of lamictal (lamotrogine).

But do not stop abruptly usage of this drug,you should take opinion from your treating physician or neurologist for an alternate anti-epilepsy drug.

Generally,this side effects are not so serious and may get subsided by it self Or/and in case not or if they persists for a longer time then you should seek immediate medical attention.
