There is not much side effects of opipramol.
It causes sedation, headache, giddiness and sometimes rebound anxiety also occurs.

Whatever your features those suggest that you have anxiety rather than side effects of opipramol.

Also wakelert is the medication which causes hyper stimulation and anxiety as side effects.

So consult psychiatrist and ask for change of medication.
