Brief Answer:
Increased sleepiness is more likely
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Stilnox (zolpidem tartrate) is recommended not to be taken along with alcohol. Using zolpidem together with alcohol can increase nervous system side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience impairment in thinking and judgment. Alcohol may exaggerate the effects of zolpidem but 10 mg is not a high dose and although alcohol may lead to increased sleep, it is unlikely to lead to more serious complications.
As of now, I would insist on letting her sleep undisturbed. After she gets up, the hangover symptoms might be more severe.
