Question : I am taking alprax 0.25 aong with larpose 1mg and tancodep 2 for 15 years. I can not get sleep without those tablets. It was recemmended by Neurologist. I don't find any probem till now. I am 54 years old. Is there any side effect?

How can I stop the medicine and get out of addiction? Or Is there any serious problem in continuing the medicines?

First of all I feel you need those medication to sleep not because you are sick but because you are addicted to medications.

To get the deaddiction process see a psychiatrist in your city. Although you may not find any problem today but with advancement of age it is possible that you may face cognitive side effects like memory problems or falls due to effect of medications.

I understand you are self medication for last twelve years but I must congratulate you for thinking beyond your comfort zone to make positive changes in your life.
