Brief Answer:
Fever.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern. This can happen if it was excessive hot onside your room causing you to sweat or can happen as a result of fever that you might have as a result of sore throat or Bronchitis for which you were taking steam inhalation. The steam inhalation is not at all the cause behind the sweating that you had.
So you need to keep a check on your temperature. Measure it with a thermometer if you feel any malaise. You should take proper treatment for whatever ailment that you are having fir which you required to take steam.
I hope it helps.
If you have any further query, please ask me.

ok thank. I had strep throat a week or 2 ago.. it's gone now. but I developed a dry cough. which isn't too bad. just sometimes I'll cough and almost feel like throwing up. but it's alot less now. I was taking the steam inhalation for it. when I had strep I was having night and day sweats. but it stopped...and only last night it came back for a little bit. but I had alot of condensation in my living room where I was sleeping. so I was thinking having the blanket on and sleeping on the couch with the steamer cause me to sweat because I got hot. but wasn't too sure. I know after the antibiotics I stopped taking a week ago because of strep. has made my stool soft. not really diarrehea. more soft and brown sometimes a little dark. but it's not totally solid more mushy but still whole. do I need to take a probiotic to make my stool more solid as well?

Brief Answer:
You may take.

Detailed Answer:
Hi. In that case you might have got sweating due to the room temperature. As far as taking probiotics are concerned you can take them as you have been on antibiotic therapy. You may also increase the consumption of fresh yoghurt in diet which is a natural good source of probiotic.
