                                    Brief Answer:
Though chances are less get tested after 12 weeks.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
Welcome back to health care magic.
I have gone through the details.
The antibodies tests are conclusive after 12 weeks. The antibodies test is done at 8 weeks. It is good that it is negative. Though antibodies are formed by 2-6 weeks post exposure, in few individuals it may take 12 weeks.
Though the chances of HIV is less with given description, it is better to get tested after 12 weeks post exposure to relieve your anxiety totally.
The symptoms are non specific and unlikely due to HIV.
You can get back for any clarification.
Thank you
