Brief Answer:
Details are given below. Need proper investigation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

PCOS is most common endocrine disorder among reproductive age group women. It is associated with metabolic dysfunction, irregular late period and impairment of proper ovulation, leads to conceiving problem in future.

Symptoms include: irregular or no menstrual periods, heavy periods, excess body and facial hair, acne, pelvic pain, trouble getting pregnant and patches of thick, darker, velvety skin.

Some investigation should be done like pelvic ultrasound scan, complete hormone profile (LH/ FSH, estrogen, progesterone, androgen, DHEAS, prolactin, thyroid level etc).

Kindly, consult with your local gynecologist for clinical examination and above mentioned test. Take suggestive treatment according to that.

Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish your good health and take care yourself.

Regards,
Dr S Patra
