Question : I have a rash on my right hip. It does not itch. What is it? I tried to attach pictures.

It is looking like fungal infection.
Usually fungal infections are itchy but can present even without that.
I treat such cases with ointment clotrimazole to be applied twice daily for two weeks.
It is safe and effective.

My mother has shingles. And I went to visit her last week. Thought it could be shingles??

It presents with pain followed by rest which is water filled.
Just relax and apply clotrimazole cream.
