Question : I have developed a lump about the size of a marble with significant bruising, yet I don't recall bumping it. The bump is somewhat painful to touch, but it seems to be getting more sensitive. It is on my forearm, about two inches below my elbow. The bruising covers about 3-4 inches with the area of the bump appearing kinda paler with not as much bruising on the lump.
Brief Answer:
Please attach a photo of this lump.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Can you please attach a photo of it? Otherwise its very hard to give valuable answer.
From your description it seems to be infected and may need antibiotic treatment and incision. But without seeing it its hard to tell.
I`m looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards.

.
Brief Answer:
You may wait and see.
Detailed Answer:
This looks more like a bruise than like a lump. Have you had any injury recently? For sure, it does not need to be incised nor antibiotic isnt necessary.
The bruise will be present for a week or two. Thats the normal thing. I suggest you to put lukewarm compresses on this area and wait. The swelling should decrease in couple of days. If not, than you should visit a surgeon.
