Question : My husband has a swelling between his stomach area and pelvis area. It is painful when it happens. The area swells and then it goes away.
Brief Answer:
Visit your doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have gone through the details you have provided.Uor husband seems to have a hernia in his anterior abdominal wall. this means that there is a weakness in the anterior abdominal wall through which contents of the abdomen can protrude out. I would suggest you visit your doctor to get a physical examination and to confirm the diagnosis.M ost hernias are harmless but can get complications so
in case there pain over the swelling or change of colour of the skin over the swelling or if the swelling does not recuce on pusing it back you need to visit your doctor immediately.
hope this helps
