What Causes Bleeding During Pregnancy?

AS BELOW
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Please upload the ultrasound scan report that was done.
Also, when was her last menstrual period , and are her cycles regular ?
I need to know how many weeks pregnant she is before commenting whether the scan was normal.
Bleeding during this period indicates a threatened miscarriage.
At times, it maybe treated successfully with medications and rest.
You can only know the outcome after a week, if the ultrasound report has improved.
Meanwhile, susten contains progesterone , it is a hormone that supports the growing pregnancy.
SHe should also take absolute rest.
Avoid stress, travelling, intercourse.
Please upload the scan so that I can provide more information.
All the best
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.

Thank you for your answer. Her last period was 03-5-14. period cycle is 31 days.the report says the pregnancy is 5w and 6 days
AS BELOW
Detailed Answer:
Going by her last period, she should be 7 weeks pregnant right now.
The scan shows 5 wk 6 days, also by now, the fetal pole should be seen.
There is a chance that because of a 31 day cycle, she might have had delayed conception.
There is no way to know how the pregnancy will progress until a repeat scan is done.
If that shows no improvement, then you will need to terminate this pregnancy.
SHe needs to rest, remain stress - free, take all medications as advised.
Wishing you lots of luck.

REPORT LOOKS GOOD, DONT WORRY.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Congratulations, the latest report looks good.
THe heartbeat is seen, which is a very positive sign.
The medications are fine too, there is a small amount of bleeding, but hopefully that should be resolved.
She should be resting, as emphasized before.
AVoid all kinds of stress, travelling, avoid intercourse.
Take medications sincerely.
I do not think there is any need to worry as the scan looks good and there is no ominous bleeding.
The fibroids might cause complications in the third trimester and during delivery, but right now, there is no cause for concern.
Take care.

Good day
Now my wife entered 7th week of pregnancy. She is facing severe constipation and passing her stool once in 3 days.I am too much worried if she puts pressure while passing stool. Can you pls suggest some solution for this? how she can take daily diet so that it can be avoided? suggest some fruits and vegetable which can ease this
DIET EXPLAINED.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again
Did she always have habitual constipation, or is this a new problem during this pregnancy ?
She should take a lot of water, atleast 5 - 6 litres per day.
Eat 5 - 6 small meals instead of 2 -3 big ones.
KEep snacking through the day, taking lots of water, nimbu pani and buttermilk in between.
Have a banana with a glass of warm milk at night before sleeping.
INcrease her intake of XXXXXXX whole wheat, papaya, banana, mangoes, green leafy vegetables and all fresh fruits.
Avoid eating fried, greasy, oily, processed food.
Have simple, fresh, home cooked food.
SHe can take a laxative like Dulcolax if dietary modification fails.
Take care.

CAN GET SCAN DONE.
Detailed Answer:
If the bleeding is not continuing, you can get a pelvic transvaginal scan , and upload it.
I would have a look and see if the baby is alright.

Recent reports uploaded.Pls tell us why this is happening? Every time do we need to approach the Doctor for this? After this report our OBGyn says report is ok but she adviced to get admitted in hospital. Now my wife is hospital and undergoing some medicines.
REPORT OK, THREATENED MISCARRIAGE IS THE CAUSE
Detailed Answer:
Hi
The recent report is normal.
This condition is called threatened miscarriage.
Herein, mild bleeding occurs, but the baby remains fine, however, there is risk of miscarriage anytime.
It can be because of the uterine fibroids, or due to lack of adequate blood flow to the baby.
The doctor must have admitted her for bedrest, as however much you might try, rest in a hospital room surpasses rest at home.
Take care.
