Brief Answer:
Yes ER visit will be helpful for you and is the need of hour!!!

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for consulting and your trust in HCM means a lot to me as a Physician.
I have completely reviewed your health query, and well realize all those concerns. Being your physician, I will take care all of them today and will extend my expertise to solve the problems.

Alarming is the hemorrhage due to either overdose or least excretion of the drug from body (final effect being overdilution or over anticoagulation of the blood and bleeding in small blood vessels in body).

Bleeding in the eye is dangerous and if the Coumadin effects are not reversed, it may lead to more severe bleeds anywhere else in the body e.g. Retina, brain, kidneys, nasal, Peritoneum (abdominal cavity) etc

You need to rush the ER as this is a true medical emergency. If I was your treating Physician at ER I must have received you and tested for all the coagulation profile, plus INR values right now. I would have started the treatment on emergent basis as:
Prothrombin complex concentrate;
Intravenous vitamin K.

You need to go and ask for the reversal of effects of Coumadin.

Precaution:-
IMMEDIATELY STOP TAKING COUMADIN RIGHT AWAY UNTIL FURTHER ORDERS BY YOUR ATTENDING PHYSICIAN IN ER.

Hope I answered all of your queries. Let me know if you have further clinical concerns or doubts. I will be more than happy to get back to you. Please don't forget to give 'Five star rating' (if agreed) to help me assist patients in a better way; and, please don't forget to click on 'Close This Discussion'.
For any disease you have, a timely follow-up is necessary regarding the treatment efficacy and to see if there is a need to change the treatment options. So keep a follow up to see how you doing (Always write down my name in start of your questions at this forum & I will be with you in no time).

Brief Answer:
Sometimes normal or low INR bleeds too and needs special care !!!

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for consulting and your trust in HCM means a lot to me as a Physician. I appreciated the follow up query you have and happy to assist you.

It is confirmation and a XXXXXXX of relief for you that you didn't need the use of Coumadin reversal medications in ER.

It is best to keep a regular follow up with your treating Physician as in some patients previously normal range of INR falls and bleed may occur at unusual reading of INR for them (as it happened in your case). To avoid future bleeds your treating Physician will take care of your treatment regimen accordingly.
