Question : Hi my 15 yr old daughter has experienced when she poops there is red blood. It has happened 3 times this week. What is wrong is it bad
Brief Answer:
hi and welcome
Detailed Answer:
This is very probably nothing serious and in most cases it happens due to straining during defecation when there is hard stool or hemorrhoids. She should eat food that will soften stool such as fruit ,vegetables, lot of fluids, high fibre food. If symptoms persist then she should check red blood count and do proctologist examination. Wish you good health. Regards
