Brief Answer:
kidney stones?

Detailed Answer:
Good day,
There are many causes for blood in the urine. If you did not have an infection then I suggest that you need an ultrasound or CT to look at your kidney. It could be a stone or other abnormality. If the blood resolves then it is probably okay but if not you definitely need your kidney imaged. Please make sure to follow up with your doctor soon. You need to do all that you can to protect your remaining kidney. IF all is well with the kidney and you still have blood in the urine it could be coming from your bladder and you may need to have a cystoscopy to look at that.
