Question : I spoke to Dr. XXXXXXX - my doctor gave me penicillin for my UTI - I have renewed this two times but still at intervals find blood in my urine- is this to be concerned about? Going in January for an appointment I made with a urologist to find out what else is going on. I was told the doctor will do some time of test in his office. Can you explain what this test will be and what use it has to determine the problem..Thanks for your help.

Thanks for query .I have gone through our previous thread of discussion and seems that you have not done Endoscopic Examination of Bladder that I have suggested you in my earlier reply.

The test that you are likely to be get done in your next visit is likely to be the same (Cystocopy) This will help us to pin point the cause for repeated episodes of blood in urine.

Please go ahead and get it done .It is a very simple test .
