Question : Hi I have a bruise size of a tangerine on my back that is bright purple and a smaller paler one next to it. i slipped going up the stairs and fell on the edge of a table. i did it on Saturday and i am due to spend 4 hours on a plane tomorrow morning will it be ok ?

Bruises are quite common after injury. They are due to leakage of blood in the skin.
You don't have to worry as it is safe to travel by air. They will take 7-8 days to disappear on their own. You don't have to do anything for them.
