Question: I had a polyp removed, dnc, and another big lettered procedure back in Feb 2014. Periods were normal for about 2 months. The next one was a lil late, than the next a wk early. Period showed up in July at 30 days. Didn't worry so much except had light bleeding 2 wks b4 for 24hrs. Again this month had a day of brown spotting. Then a couple days b4 period had one clot than nothing. It's been 37 days no period. (Normal 5 day flow) 2 pregnancy tests negative. Feel crampy like going to start then goes away. I am getting dark circles under my eyes and having diarrhea. Very tired. What's going on with me?

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Welcome to healthcare magic

1. You are not pregnant.

2. Since you are already 41 years age the endometrial growth will be less compared to earlier.

3. Even there will be mild variation of hormones.

4. Therefore this is normal for you to have variations in duration and flow.

5. These irregular cycles might become more frequent. This might also be a sign of perimenopausal symptoms.

6. Hence dont worry about delayed or scanty periods.
