Question : Hello..I recently (maybe three days) noticed a bump on my abdomen. I thought it may just be a bruise I iced it and the area seemed to be more blue and was previously and I think currently flesh tone. I am now getting nervous. The bump is on my right side just below my ribs a little toward my belly button but in the side just not directly under ribs and just above right oblique. It doesn't hurt per se but does have a kind of tender sensation when touched. It's maybe the size of a quarter and hardly visible to the eye. I don't have a fever. No nausea or bowel issues of any kind. No dizziness or fatigue doesn't hurt when exerting force. Not many symptoms other then the lump itself....some help would be great..I don't want to go to doctor or hospital if it's not necessary. I don't have health insurance and have fallen upon some financial hardship while in between jobs. Thanks in advance for your help. Also any advice on seeking affordable or charitable/pro bono care would be benificial.

It isnt very visible to the eye and hard to pick up on cam but here is a pic of the location
Not much of a skin reaction it's underneath maybe lump would be a better would to use then bump? What could the mystery bump be?

Lipoma
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Nothing is visible in photograph.
As you mentioned it is like a lump, the most probable diagnosis appears to be lipoma.
It is a harmless collection of fat cells.
I would like to know few additional things.
1. Is the skin above the lump pinchable?
2. Is the mass mobile, when you press it does it slip below your fingers?
Answer the above so I can reach to a conclusion.
Thank you

get usg done
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Lipoma us dense collection of fat so it is very hard and not fatty.
However it is mobile and not fixed to skin.
If the lump is fixed to skin you must get an ultrasound done.
This will exactly tell the cause and management can be based on this.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
