                                    Brief Answer:
Any drug can cause reflux
Detailed Answer:
Hello there. Thanks for writing to hcm. Any drug can induce gastritis and/or cause esophageal reflux. Out of the diabetes medications metformin can cause it the most. What other medications are you on? If its very troublesome you should try a drug like omeprazole with domperidone for a week or so. It will help in most cases. You need to avoid coffee and aerated foods. Plz do not lie down soon after a meal. If you are overweight loosing some weight will help. I will be glad to answer any more queries if you have any. Take care. Warm regards.
