Brief Answer:
It could be something called "Meralgia Paresthetica"

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.

The symptom complex you have mentioned here suggestive of something called "Meralgia Paresthetica".It is a condition that causes numbness, pain, or a burning feeling in your upper parts of thigh. It is caused by compression of a nerve running to the outer thigh. However relation with food intake is very unlikely in this case.
Other possible causes are sciatica, which is caused by damage to sciatic nerve( major nerve in upper thigh) spinal stenosis(narrowing) or disc diseases. Other less likely causes are multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia , and lupus.
I suggest you to consult a neurologist for detailed evaluation. You may need multiple diagnostic tests like EMG(electromyography) and nerve conduction studies.
Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing you good health.
