What Causes Burning Sensation Post Ejaculation?

but immediately after having ejaculation after having intercourse I feel a burning sensation which gets relieved after urination at small drops.
but in normal course of time I don't have any problem with burning sensation of urine, neither restriction in urine flow.
every thing is normal...
only that it bothers me the burning sensation after ejaculation.....
how can I get relieved or what is the cause?
It might be Prostatitis

HI
Greeting from Dr. Divakar.P
Thanks for posting your query .
This is a very common complaints which I come across my patients . This can happen if there is inflammation or infection in genito-urinary tract. Since you are telling you don't have any burning sensation of urine then the possibity of urinary tract problem is less .
Left is genital tract inflammation or infection among which Prostate is a common cause . I advise you to get Semen Culture sensitivity test and revert back with report .
Treatment depends on the report . If it shows as infection you will require an antibiotic course . Till then hydrate yourself well , drink plenty of water and Citrus fruits juice .
Any clarifications feel free to ask .
Happy to answer .
Regards.

is this really serious?
Not serious

HI
Thanks for the follow up
Shilajit is an ayurvedic product used for Male impotence and Pre mature ejaculation . But you don't have either of that .
SO I don't think shilajit will help .

Medicine is OK
Detailed Answer:
HI
I treat my patients with diagnosing the disease first and then giving definitive treatment.
I still advise you to get Semen Culture and sensitivity test and revert back with report.
Regarding the Antibiotic Azithral is fine but for prostatitis antibiotic has to be used for 2-3 weeks and not 3 days.
Nausea could be due to side effect of medicine or due to gastritis . Ask your doctor for a prescription of Rabeprezole + domperidone.
Cause of infection can be secondary to urine infection, blood stream infection or sexually transmitted. It's a good idea to get your partner tested but first you get tested for Semen Culture sensitivity test.
Any clarifications feel free to ask.
If none kindly close the discussion and rate my answer.
Regards.
