Brief Answer:
Clarification please

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for your query.

I'm Dr. Shuba Hariprasad and will be answering your query today.

Would you clarify a few things for me please?
* what is your height and weight?
* when did the burning start? Is it continuous or more when you do a certain activity (like sitting or standing, for instance?)
* does it hurt or itch? Any discoloration to the skin on your legs?any rashes or spots?
* do you have any other medical concerns (diabetes, peripheral artery disease, gastritis for instance) or take any medications?
* any recent fall or injury? Injury to spine or hips?

I recommend :
-a physician consult with complete neurological exam
-blood tests (complete blood count, kidney and liver function tests, blood glucose panel, lipid profile)
-doppler study of the legs, if necessary.

Based on the clinical findings and test results a treatment will initiated.

Dryness of skin and poor circulation can also contribute to burning sensation in legs.
-Please massage your legs gently and apply adequate moisturizer twice a day or more frequently if necessary.
-Try cool and warm water alternatively to see which provides you with relief from burning sensation.
Either can help based on the cause.
-please drink plenty of water unless contraindicated due to medical problems.

Hope this helps and you feel better soon.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health.
Regards,
Dr. Shuba Hariprasad
