What Causes Chest Pain And Numbness Of Neck With Normal Tests?

Question: I am a 34 year old female. I take Hydrochlorothyazide because of ankle and foot swelling. I also have other chronic health problems. I was in the emergency room 2 days ago due to chest pain/tightness and shortness of breath. All of the tests were fine. Now today, all of a sudden, the left side of my neck started to hurt then started to feel numb. I do not know if I am being paranoid, but it also feels as if my left arm is feeling slightly weak as well. Should I be concerned after having all normal test results?

I have read your querry well and understood your concern.
Since your heart was checked just 2 days before and it was found to be normal clearly suggests that your current symptoms are not of cardiac origin.
There can be various reasons for your numbness and these could be...
Anxiety or some panic attack
Loss of electrolytes due to persistent intake of HYDROCHLORTHIAZIDE
Lack of VIT B12 and VIT D
I would advise you to get your electrolytes,VIT B12 and D levels checked.
Since you are complaining of multiple health problems,adopt measures like yoga,deep breathing,meditation etc to decrease your anxiety levels and get better health.
