Pregnancy Symptoms, Negative Test Results, Have Light Abdominal Cramping, Brown Discharge. Pregnancy?
Hi,
I'm 2 days late on my period and testing negative with home pregnancy tests. Over a week and a half ago the following symptoms started: increase in appetite, breast/nipple tenderness (extreme), fainting and dizzy spells, increased sense of smell, lower back aches and very emotional. Usually the week before my period due date I bloat like crazy...no bloating this go 'round. Last night I had some very light cramping on one side of my abdomen (left) and when I get my period the cramps are crippling. Also, I noticed a very light brown discharge this morning when I wiped which so far today has been minimal. Do you think I could be pregnant?
Here, you need to undergo one blood test for beta-HCG to rule out pregnancy. It is more reliable than a home pregnancy test. One TVS scan will give additional information. In exclusion of pregnancy, it may be associated with premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Other reasons are hormonal imbalance, indigestion problem, mental stress etc. Take healthy diet, avoid salt / coffee in 2nd half of cycle, maintain genital hygiene, avoid stress by regular meditation, do light exercise daily, wear loose breast support and take sound sleep.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
