Question: Hi, I am a 26 year old female and for months I have been experiencing chest pain and throat irritation that occurs everything single day no matter what, I am desperate to get answers as to what this could be please help me! I am an occassional smoker am allergic to penicillin and have osteoporosis in my lower back.

Thank you so much for such a quick reply, I have had several ECG's which have all been clear. I don't exactly have a cough I just feel like I need to constantly clear my throat, I don't present with a fever and yes the chest pain is a constant dull aching pain.

I don't experience any shortness of breath and I would probably smoke about 6 cigarettes a day sometimes only 2 a day.

Acute gastritis or GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) can be the cause.

Chest pain is more centered with alot of nausea.
I stress alot about anything and everything and yes I do smoke cigarettes because of the stress.
