Question : Hi .. My wife's pregnant, 16 weeks 3 days.
yesterday she experienced constant dull pain in left side , lower abdomen. There was mild spotting as well last week. We went to the hospital yesterday, got the scans done etc. and everything looked fine. No urine infection either. in 12 weeks scan, placenta was posterior, low lying but that even is not low lying anymore( in yesterday's scan). Doctor gave few pain killers and she was fine as pain eventually subsided by evening. I am just wondering what could be
the possible reason for the pain as everything appeared normal. Appreciate your response.

Brief Answer:
precautions advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr. XXXXXXX thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your anxiety about the issue.
This is very common and usually if subsides by itself there is nothing to worry.
She should take complete rest with no exertion at all and no intercourse either.
No heavy work and regular visit to gynecologist.
All the best
