Question : Hello. I have been experiencing the smell of smoke for the last month. It seems to happen primarily when seated or laying down. I have slight headaches and some nausea from time to time. I have a small, flesh colored lump (maybe pinhead in size) directly above my uvula. Any advice would be fantastic.

Thanks for the query.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

After reading your clinical history it appears that you are most probably having
chronic post nasal discharge (PND) with acute viral infection .
Pinhead lump above uvula mostly because of acute viral infection .

If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice
Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily ,
Saline nasal spray thrice daily ,
Tab paracetamol twice daily &
antihistamine tablet like Tab Claritin (Loratadine) at night .

You will get relief .
