Brief Answer:
Supportive care

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Chest congestion and cough with normal work up for pneumonia and heart failure etc leads to other non worrisome causes like allergic airways disease, upper respiratory tract infections or GERD related complication if you have history of acid reflux.

I would suggest home remedies for cough like warm beverages like green tea, herbal tea mixed with honey, salt water gargles, garlic water mouth rinses etc. If you have acid reflux problem, modify diet and lifestyle and take supportive care for that. Avoid triggers like smoking, alcohol, processed canned foods, spicy foods etc.

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
