Hi and thank you for asking

You are reporting to have dark purple vomiting and it can be due to :

- foods that you have used recently like berries, beet root, blueberry, cherry etc.

- serious stomach issues like gastritis, esophagitis, ulcer that may cause stomach bleeding.

If you suspect that it may be blood at your vomit, then you should go to ER for proper evaluation.

Otherwise, If you will have purple vomit again you can send me a photo to check it by myself.
