Brief Answer:
Possibly a cause!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this dent and all the inconveniences this has caused you. This is probably related to the fall because healing skin can cause fibrosis with a resulting dent. I am of the opinion that you are fine and there is no reason to think this is a possible breast cancer and more so with two negative mammographies.

There is really no fear to be nursed here. Be calm, relaxed and confident that all will be okay.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for trusting us with your health query.

The doctor that seen me after he said all was clear with mammographies & scan I told him about the bad tumble -he ask me if I hurt myself- I said no- just a bad tumble.
he said that would not have done this dent.

Brief Answer:
I think it is a possible cause...and more with negative mammographies!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This may be unlikely but with negative mammographies and this information, it is very likely that this is a possible cause. I will say be calm and we shall understand the fine details with some more investigations.

I wish you well and keep me posted on the outcome of the next visit.

What other causes perhaps maybe the cause and what would the treatment be for
fibrosis and if also for any other suggestions you may have.

Brief Answer:
The dent that appear could be a skin over the breast problem

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

The dent that appear could be a skin over the breast problem, retraction of the skin over the breast. It may not be something within the breast all the time that causes the dent. Suppose there is a fibrosis because of tumble it is not wise to treat it. Age related changes are enormous that are not quite understood completely.

Thank you.

Does this mean that there could be a problem lying under this dent, because of thickening of the skin under the dent that even mammograms or scans will not show or pick up the problem.

If this is the case will I need surgery or treatment to find the cause.

Brief Answer:
I will say be calm and monitor only!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up question.

I have reviewed this information fully and there should be not great fear about this at this time. I will suggest that you monitor only at this time and I am confident saying so because the mammograms are all normal.

I hope this helps and reassures you. Keep me updated on your mind state and all.

Brief Answer:
You do not need surgery!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up request.

1. YOU will not need surgery at this time. The most probable cause of this dent is the fact that the skin is being pulled as a results of a healing scar. You will not need surgery for this at this time.
2. Mammogram will not detect fibrosis. They detect masses and because there are no masses, that is the reason why they are all normal and not that it is unable to detect a problem.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Please, keep me posted.
