Brief Answer:
Possible Sea food allergic reaction/poisoning

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.

Looking at your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. It appears you had sea food allergy or possible sea food poisoning.

2. Until it is cleared from the gut, you would have had diarrhea. This also has manifested as chills and sweating.

3. The rapid bowel movement, could have caused mucosal ulceration leading onto mild bleeding.

4. Not to worry. Once, the symptoms settle down, the mucosa will heal.

Take good amount of fluids and regular nutritional diet. Avoid spicy, or sea foods for a week to aid the gut to completely recover.
Pepto bizmo not necessary for present condition. However, if you have any gastritis, you can take.

Take rest. Blood in feces is one off event. If it recurrs and if still diarrhea is present along with it, stool examination for parasites and cysts maybe necessary.

If diarrhea is still persistent, antibiotics maybe necessary like a combination of ofloxacin with metronidazole. You need to take prescription from your doctor.

At present, not to worry. Take rest.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
