Brief Answer:
prescription is fine.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I am Dr Mittal. I have read your query. I think I would be able to help you.

First, GBS is known to be caused by the infection. But it is not necessary that every time you have a infection, it is Campylobacter. There are many other causes of the symptoms.

I think I would have suggested the same medicine to a patient coming to me with same symptoms. So I feel that the prescription for you is fine.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

Best of luck.

Dr Mittal.

Brief Answer:
7 days

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

The medicines will be sufficient. However, I would suggest a course of 7 days instead of 5 days for the same. You will also need to take care of your fluid balance. Dehydration can also cause generalized weakness, and in your case, that may actually confuse the picture. So make sure your fluid and electrolyte balance is good.

I hope that the information helps.
Best of luck.
