The risk for any rabies infection are almost zero!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this dog scratch that you have reported. I have reviewed the information fully and there are very little chances that you could get rabies from tis encounter. Risk for rabies is high when there is an active and bleeding wound. With just a scratch through the jeans, it is unlikely that there are any chances you would contract this. Also, your symptoms are not suggestive of this. Persons with rabies are scared of water and cannot drink. I will recommend that you stay relax and not get too worried about a possible rabies infection at this time. I will recommend that you continue sipping as much as you need and report any your progress to me. I believe all would be okay.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
