What Causes Epigastric Pain In The Upper Abdomen?
Question: I had a Nissen Fundiplication 9/2016. Lately I have thrown up numerous times- intermittently and having epigastric burning pain that is not always distract able. Already on ppi and now using some mylanta for symptom control. First off I didn't think I was supposed to be able to throw up anymore and secondly, the pain worries me that something has slipped. Are these signs of failure?

*After this much time post-operative period , throwing up numerous times is not
a normal condition.
*Burning may relate to underlying Gastritis still but throwing is almost in relation
with either esophagus sliding out of wrapped portion of the stomach so that
the valve( lower esophageal sphincter ) is no longer supported , discomfort
from gas buildup because person is not able to burp.
*Kindly revert me back with further details needed so that I can focus more

2.either symptoms narrated right now are same as such after surgery or
has increased / decreased since 09/2016
3.details of pre-operative reports ,surgery, post-operative reports if done any as documents

7.anxiety/stress/mood pattern
8.activity level - bedridden /active / exercises part
